8th Annual City to City Prayer Walk Locations for Oct 1st

A special thanks to Jim Shaner, Peet  Bekker and Prayer Walkers Across America for supporting us and praying in your cities! The following cities/states are also joining us in prayer.

Peet Bekker – South Africa. Peet will pray in the Karoo, South Africa’s Living Desert.

Jim Shaner will prayer walk near the Independence Hall area in Philadelphia.

Prayer Walkers across America from the following states:

Bishop, California; Portland Oregan (Downtown), Whidbey Island, Washington; Inverness, Florida; Independence, Missouri; Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland and Washington, D.C. A special thanks to Robert Ward who will be prayer walking in Escondido, Ca.

Unless otherwise noted, all prayer walks start at 7:30 am on Saturday, Oct 1st. Try to be at your gate or community location by 7:15 am. More updates to come as we get closer.

New: Los Angelos  (Grenada Hills)

Antelope
Meet at the 7/11 parking lot, 5501 Auburn Blvd, on the corner of Auburn and Garfield. You will be disbursed in teams from there. Contact Victoria at 916.559.2793

Roseville/Rocklyn
Meet at Old Town Roseville, City Hall 325 Vernon Street, Roseville Ca. This group will cover Roseville, Rocklin and the rail line in prayer. Contact Eric at 916.671.0420.

New Area – Carpenter Hill – Folsom
This area was requested as a High Place. Located in Folsom you can view Sacramento from its vantage point. Meet  next to 417 Tobrurry Way, Folsom. Contact Jeff for details or directions 916.960.6347.

Del Paso Heights – Two areas, dates and times to pray:
Meet at Hagginwood Park on Del Paso Blvd, Sacramento, at 7:30 am, on Oct 1st. Contact Joe at 916.868.5567.

Prayer Driving through the Heights! Thurs Sept 29th, at 6:30 pm. Meet at Fair Oaks Market on the corner of Astoria and Grand. Let’s roll!

New Area – Marysville/Linda/Olivehurst
A team of intercessor’s will be in prayer for these area’s while we are prayer walking. Contact Sandi at sjuri@sbcglobal.net

Fairfield/Suisun – Solano County
Teams will meet on West and North Texas Streets and join in the middle.  Contact Bonita at 707.816.9453.

Oak Park
Meet at McClatchy Park, 5th avenue at 35th street, at 9:30 am, Sat, Oct 1st. Children are encouraged to come along. Contact Patricia at 916.709.1405

South Sacramento – 2 Locations

Downtown/Midtown Sacramento – Elmhurst Community
Meet at Restoration Life Church parking lot at 6 pm, Sunday, September 25th

New: South Natomas

Meet at the South Natomas Community Center by the Rose Garden at 8 a.m.

Downtown State Capitol – 2 Locations – 3 options of prayer
Meet on the West Side (10 Street) at 7:30 am.  Capitol walkers have the option of walking halfway down Capitol Mall to the Wells Fargo Building, to meet with the Tower Bridge walkers. Or you can remain at the capitol and continue to prayer walk the grounds. Pastor Vinnie will be the team lead. If you wish to join this team, contact Pastor Vinnie at 916.559.2793

Prayer will be held inside the capitol, at 9 am, for the legislators, for those unable to walk. Contact Bessi at 707.425.4275

West Sacramento – 3 Locations to Choose From

1) Meet at City Hall, 1110 West Capitol Ave at 7:30 am. Contact Shari at 916.214.1509
2) Tower Bridge Walkers – Meet at City Hall, 1110 West Capitol Ave at 7:30 am or meet at the entrance of River Walk Park, 651 2nd Street, at 8 am to join the walk from there. Contact Shari at 916.214.1509
3)Meet at Yolo Causeway Wildlife Refuge at 7:30 am. Contact Shari at 916.214.1509
Directions: From eastbound I-80, take the East Chiles Road exit and travel east one-quarter mile to the west levee access.
From westbound I-80, take the “County Road 32A East Chiles Road” exit immediately west of the west end of the Yolo Causeway, turn right at stop sign and head south under freeway to west levee access.
Folsom/Rancho Cordova
Meet at the Nimbus Dam Overlook, 1901 Hazel Ave, at 7:30 am. You may need to park in the residential area and walk up. Contact Khadijeh at 916.519.6339 
Davis
Meet at Yolo Causeway Wildlife Refuge at 7:30 an. Contact Shari at 916.214.1509
