Frank Erb is Pastor to the California State Capitol in Sacramento. He has served in this way full-time since 2008, providing personal outreach, individual discipleship, weekly small-group expository Bibleteaching, pastoral counseling, and Biblical guidance for California’s government leaders, so they can know and follow Jesus Christ and increasingly become the people he has made them to be. This mission reaches U.S. Congress Members, State Senators, State Assembly Members, Statewide Leaders,
Constitutional Officers, Department Heads, Legislative Staff, Lobbyists, Sergeants-at-Arms, and others.
The California State Capitol is the political power center for the most populous and most influential state in the most powerful nation on earth, which makes this is a strategic mission with unique local, national,and global impact.
Beyond the Capitol, Frank provides coaching for leaders of all kinds, and regularly speaks and teaches God’s word to churches and other groups. Frank reaches out to all, regardless of party, politics, or perspective, knowing that what all people need most is the inner transformation and spiritual maturity that can only come through the Good News of Jesus Christ and the Word of God. When our elected officials’ hearts and minds are changed, God is glorified, they are blessed, and God’s word can guide them in making more wise decisions.
Frank serves in this way as the Founder and President of a 501c3 nonprofit ministry called Illuminate California™, and also as the California State Minister for Capitol Commission®, a national ministry connecting pastors serving in state capitols across the United States.
