Stuart Powell grew up and lived in rural areas of Indiana, never more than 7 miles from the Wabash river. He surrendered his life to Christ as master in 1981, which led him to invest in various aspects of ministry with local churches including service, teaching, preaching, and writing. In 2016 Stuart completed an MA in New Testament studies from Johnson University. Stuart’s ministry in teaching and preaching, has transformed him into an accomplished writer, with notable works published with Christian Standard Media. Stuart’s ministry is amplified by intense prayer, obedience and an acute understanding of the perplexities of life struggles while living out the Christian faith. In addition, Stuart is an ardent and fellow prayer-walker. Stuart also ministers and prays for missionaries and those in the persecuted church, which makes his ministry not only remarkable, but far-reaching. In addition, Stuart has over 35 years of manufacturing experience in engineering and Information Technology.
Stuart also serves on the boards of Christian Campus Ministry, Harvest Prayer Ministries, and United Way of the Wabash Valley.
Stuarts life verse is Romans 12:12 and he is always looking for opportunities to laugh loudly.
